Learning New Things

Well now that I have been doing my paperprototype we have learned that my game was more quiz type which is not allowed.So we had to change it so now you have to take the football and hit the right equation.I was letting Mr.Lester read over my game ideal and he was like this has to be changed quiz games isn't allowed.Well I have been looking at 8th grade cso's and now that I have learned i know what types of problems is expected of me.This is a really interenting game once you learn more about it.I know that this stuff is my level and is correct because I have talk to my 8th grade math teachers and have reseched stuff.There is differnt grade levels when it comes to decimals and fractions theres super easy one and super hard ones.This game is going to be in between.

Raders Equations

This paperprototye has really helped me to get better ideals about my game.Before I started I had a totally different ideal.Now that I have stated on this my game ideals are really great I know exactly how I want it to be.I want my game to be about football.We have came up with some really great idels and our title so matches its called Raders Equations.Raders is the football team we have chosen to do.I really hope my game works out.The way that I have planned.When I started planning this game I planned for it to be like a quiz but now that i know it can't be quiz type.I have a really great game our game now the player will have to take the football and hot the right equation that it converts into.Well this is all for now but now that I have did this paperprototype with my partner I have had alot of idels.

What my games about??

Well my game has to be on 8th grade math level so we picked fractions ,precents and deciamls.So I am hopmg for my game to be about football and i want it to deal with the new high school River View.I love there colors purple black and silver.So the way I am going to sit my game up is I am going to have a fraction lets say its 1/2 the player will have three anwers to choose from .There going to have to take that answer and turn it in ro a fraction decimal or precent it just depends what they are given to chhose from.This game is going to teach them how to turn fractions into decimal if they don't know and prects into fractions.It will have a help scene which will guide you through this game .I amhoping to have at least 10 math equations in this game where you must turn the, into fractions,deciamls ,and precents.This game is going to be fun and really lerning to because i know how it is learning its so boaring so where going to brin the boaring out of work.I think the thing thats will be most exicating for me will be the part where i make it to where you can play football.

Games

Yes I do play games on my free time everynow and then.It is very seldem though because I'm nit that good with games.Well my favorite game would probaly be bloxters on cool math .I play that when I finish my work.This game is not really a flash game.This game doesnt realte to math at all but its really fun.I am going to try and make my game relates to math and is fun.Becasue boaring games no one likes playing.My favorite thing would probaly be playing adventure game.So my game is going to be really fun .

Algebra

Well I'm Heather Vance and my partner is Roger Bowlen.I have to do my game on 8th grade mathmatics and I have chosen to do it on algebra i think.This is what we do in 8th grade and i have started getting used to it this year.I think by making this game on algebra that it will be really learniing and fun at the same time.I am hoping to have my game dealing with the new school and football team and stuff.I have been lokking at some games from the past years that stundets have made dealing with mathmatics.They have really helped me with idels and things like this .I really like the game Addition man i think its really interesting.

Adventure

Well I played the game what would you do and it was a Adventure game.This game was pretty fun to play like you get to pick a chracter then you get to name your charcaters.It also has alot of text that you have to read when you're choosing your answers.There picture explains what there talking about and helps you to get a better ideal oh what your talking about.When i make a game i would like to make i like this beacuse the way it is set up is reallu neat like it takes you to other links that yu can evern learn more.There is tons of learning invovled in these types of games and thats what we want to do is help people to learn .So when i decided to make my game it is gonna be an anventure grene,me and my partner is going to have to alot of work and use alot of imation to get this game to work put the way where hoping.

8th grade globaloria

Well my name is Heather Vance and this is my second year in Globaloria.So there for I know some about flash ,action scripts and things like that.I really hope to learn more about those buttons cause that seems to be the hardest to me its like I don't catch on very well.I really don't know why but its like it doesnt rgister right to me.I know that I am going to be making a math game on 8th grade level but i really don't know what kind.I think I want it to have a game based on the new high school river view but i really don't know that was just a thought.I am so exicated to start worjing on this game figureing out what it is gonna be about.I am really scard that i won't know what to do this year ,because there is a new teacher and this is all new to him he knows very little but i think he will learn with us.
