Well as you know game demos are over and if i had more time.The only thing I would add would be a bonus level and make it more challenging and hard for the player.What i mean by bonus level is where you have the Decimal man scene or percent ,deciaml scene.This is where the fractions scroll acoss the screen i would like to add like twenty more fractions so that it would be harder to hit the correct one.The fractions should get harder to.

Well this year we have got alot of accomplishments done and i could never have made this game without Roger.He has done alot and if I had to give him a grade I would give him a 100%.He has made the hit test and alot of the action.The footballs and the bonus level is what he has been working on and he has done a great job at working on this.I made all the text ,some of the grapics,and a few buttons.Roger has been the one to get us through this he has worked really hard to get everything working correctly.Our game is alomost finised the entire game has alot of detailed actons in it .It is really challenging.The only thing that we have not got finished is the bonus level.If i had to give myself a grade i would say and 75 or 80%.I did alot to get our game started at the beginning and then i just let Roger do most of the rest because he is a boy and knows alot more about the football part of the game.

My game is almost finished but we have to enter the fractions to the boxes.We are going to have to go online and get fractions that are 8th grade level.These fractions are going to have to be a challange to the player .We already have the hit test working on the four levels so when we get the fractions onto the game we will be finished for good.When we get this game accomplished we need to do some touch ups like spell check and stuff make sure everything is functionally.

Well our final game is finished we are all set for the game demos.You can pick eather Austin or Dustin and and there are two levels.The fractions are on the game and all you have to do is be able to convert them if the player is not sure all you got to do is click on the help button and it will give you an ideal.The game is fully working and if you like football this game will really get your attention I do believe.We got all the hit test done and the fractions added to the other scene this past week.We are ready for our game demos and there is no adjustments that neeed to be done .We uploaded our final game Raiders Equations to the team page so you can go play it if you may want

As you know game deoms are alomost here and we have until next thursday to get these games finished .Our game only needs a few more things which will be score and the fractions added on the running scene.We still need to fix a few correct and incorrect scenes.We already have our hit tests and all working we only have small things we have to change.All we will have to do is revize over or spelling and check it .But score will probably be the most diffeicult thing.This game is alost finished and we don't have much left and the things that are left are really simple.The fractions just have to be on 8th grade level and the score will have a few actions but nothing that bad.

At the beginning of the year my game was alot different then it is now.I have changed my mind alot.My game was alot more advanced but with the time we have left there isn't enough time to do all these things.My game is still 8th grade level it is just a little similer.My game used to be quiz,there was going to be many levels,and it was also planned to be more players than two.
My game used to be a question and answer type deal but they said that this was not allowed so we had to make alot of changes start out fresh again.We was going to have a precent and then the player have to type the correct conversion in text box.Now we made it to where there is a fraction on the top and the player has to take the football throw it and hit the correct answer.
We was planning for our game to be having 5 levels but there is alot of action to these levels so we made it 3.There are so much action on each play scene there wouldnt be enough time to make it they way we planned.
This game was going to have an entire football team on it when i 1st began thinking about my game but when you have to bit map all this it takes time.There was no need to even have that many people on there .The two players that is on this game gives the audience a multiple choice of players so they can know who they want to be.
When you begin thinking of your games at the start of they year you don't think first before you write.It is alot harder and alot more time consuming than you think.My game is alot different now but i think it is alot funner than i had planned on it being.It is not quizey at all.

working toward the end

As you know we don't have much more time to work on our games the time is running out.So ,yesterday in class the students in our class got to see how all the other games where coming along.We go to write tw positive facts and one improvement they needed to make.

First,they told us our graphics where good andthey liked the colors.We have the purple black and silver colors such as font and loading scene.Our game represents the big high school that we will be going to next year River View.

Next they said the liked our hit test and they worked well me and my partner Roger have worked to get them to work correctly.You can move Austin and Dustin to the right fraction and then the game will take you to the football field and you will get to make a touchdown.The actions for the hit test are a little confusing most struggle to get them to work and we seem to get through it with the help of others.

Finally,they said we needed to get the knowledge in our game well that is in progress right now of being finished we had to wait until last because the action scripts and things had to be written first for the hit test.But the fractions are being put in the boxes right now and the next time you preview our game you will see the learning part

I know the next few weeks are going to be hard but i know i can work through it and get it done.By spring break which is three weeks away me and my partner a wanting to be finished with our games have the wraaped up that way the week after west test we will be ready to go and show our achievments .

Well as you know the school year is comig to and end soon.Which means globaloria students game demos isn't far off.We have to get it in gear,theres no time to waste.Our game is 3/4 finished we need to add a few more incorrect and correct scenes.Get the fractions going and this game will be about wrapped up.We have only another 9 weeks of school left and its all over it will be time to show our accomplishments that we have made this 2010 and 2011 year.I will use my time from here on out as well as possible.It will be nothing but game.I think this game will be a sucess for me and my partner.We have workrd really hard on this and we will be finishig it very soon.We have struggled some throughout the year but we always had people to helpp us get back on track.From here on out we will be wrapping up raders equations and getting everything ready for the big day!!We don't like alot so we should be fine with our time we have left.

Raiders Equations
Team: Rock stars
Group Members: Roger Bolen & Heather Vance
Lets’ get started this week I would have to say we have met a lot of goals and you will find out about them. Me and Roger have got all buttons working, both Austin and Dustin scenes functionally and hit test working .This wasn’t all that hard we met our goals and we are sitting more for ourselves. We have struggled and we some home worked to succeed and work together.
First, let’s talk about our buttons. We have a lot of buttons in our games as you can tell but last time our game was played there was some that wasn’t working. We turned all these into fully working buttons and added some more .We added some animation buttons which move around the screen. There will soon be fractions put into these and we will have to have a hit test and some more things to make the game run correctly.
Next, let’s talk about the Austin and Dustin scenes .We now have our players moving by arrow keys and you can choose which ever player you want and play the game. These players have hit test so you can go to which ever fraction you think if correct and if it is wrong you will get a scene that tells you that you are incorrect.
Finally, let’s talk about the hit test. We have used a lot of these in our game and these are probably one of the hardest things to get to work .But we managed to work to together to meet our goals .On both player scenes you will have hit test so that when you hit the correct or incorrect fraction you will know that you are wrong or right. These hit test have a lot of action to them so they are the hardest to get working because if one little thing is off it messes everything up.
Well, now I have told you about our game and what goals we have meet. As you can tell our game is going great and coming along well now. We are now meeting new goals and that will be to get the touchdown working and the correct and incorrect scenes so that the game will be getting finished very soon. We don’t have much longer left so now it is time to start rapping things up and getting what we need done. This week we got Football player Austin and Dustin moving around obsticles.The players are able to use the arow keys to move the players on the field.We got all of our buttons working so you can move from scene to scene this is like a little mini game now.So we just have another level or so and we will be there.If you are not for sure how to play this game the help button will really help you out.Converting these fractions are really interresting when you begin to play this game.

Well mine and Rogers game never was a quiz game to begin with.When we first got started we was beginning to turn in into a quiz game until Mr.Lester got us heaeded in the right direction.He gave us new ideals on how to do it.Our game is not near finished so by looking at it you wouldn't be able to tell if its a quiz game or not but here is a little discription on what it is going to be like.Our game there will be a fraction at the top of the page and the player will have to be able to covert a fraction to a precent or decimal.You will be playing football so they way it will be set up this will take the quiz part away.This game is going good we have some great ideals and you will soon be able to play a functionally game.

Well the other day we had our game demos.It went well for my group.They said our game was going to be fun.They said they where big fans of football.We got some really good comments on our game.They said we needed to get moving but our ganme would be great once it was finished.They want our 4th quarter player scene to be a little more challenging.Football,is a good game and these people seemed to have thought we have goood ideals in our head.But over all our game was good and they seemed to have thought it was good and a few adjustments need to be changed but thats all.

Well this year I have been working really hard and I've been really busy.I have come to alot of challenging work but probably the biggest one would be action scripts.It's so hard to remember them and when a student doesn't use them for awhile they forget every little detial to them.I come to alot of hard work but I always figure them out some how with the help of others.I am always forgetting my codes.This class is pretty easy over all I think but it can get tough sometimes you just have to get help from other people.The thing I have had a hard time with was the codes.I always have trouble with the codes expecially the ones that have things to do with motion.There are also button action scripts but there pretty easy to remember because we use them so often.If you click on the link below you will get to see what an ation script looks like and how hard it is to remember.

When we did our game demos my game was ok i guess. There was a few mistakes but thats ok.I guess that is only normal though. There was a couple of spelling mistakes I need to change before next thursday.When you have bad spelling and things that makes your grades look poorly.The said that our game was pretty good.When we where prsenting we looked at the screen alot so the teacher said that we need to show more action act like we know exactly what where talking about.He saaid to make index cards if we need to.

Well today we presented our game demos in Mr.Addair class and we watched mostly all of the other groups game demos.They where very interesting and they gave me an good ideal of what each groups game ideals where it let me imagine what types of games I will be playing.We all learned what we done wrong by being judged by our teachers.Mr.Addair is a really nice teacher and he explained to us how important that the game demos will be before Christmas break.He told us what we should do to make our games better and nicer than what they are now.My Group the rockstars has alot of working on to be ready in june but now the teacher kknow what we are mainly focusing on.Everyone is looking forward to reallly seeing what ealse will be in the game that is not included in the gmae demos.

Well this year I have come along so far.I have did alot of stuff.Flash just comes easy to me because I was intriduced to it last year.It was hard for me to rememebr a few things.Once I looked back on it it was easy.I think flash is a little confusing sometimes.Ther actions get all out of wack at times and aggervate me.My game is coming along good,I am starting on my football scene now we are going to start adding animation next week.Once we get started on this it won't take our game long to move along.My favorite thing about flash would probably be adding sound we havent got to that this year but i can't wait til we do.There are lots of diffucilates when working with flash but you must work around these.This weeek we finished our game demo and it really refelects alot about our game.

I liked this Video because the way this bird is flying across the sky is similiar to the same way that the football games is going to have footballs going across the screen.When you are watching this bird go across the screen we are hoping to have like ten footballs doing the same thing.Your footballs will need to to fly liek the bird and hit the correct math equation.Atleast this is what where planning on.Thhis video should really give you an ideal of how I am hoping for my game to be.Adding Animation is a really hard part of Globaloria class.It is also one of the very important parts which means you must really listerb andtry your best.

Well it is just now starting out the 2nd nine weeks so our games should be coming along good. We are suppost to be to adding animation by now we should so that means that we should have like our players moving on our football field well it is sad to say but havn't gottan that far yet this is my worst struggle these actions scripts on animatin are really diffucilt for me.The adding buttons cousre had been a breeze to me it is really easy and fun for me.I really enjoy this class and i think the more you take it the better you get.It was so hard last year I was completaly confused i didn't know a think but the layer ,actions ,and labels seem to be very easy to me this year it is so fun.The thing that wll probably be the hardest for me this year is animatin it so confusing but I will probably adventully get the hang of it. Well this week I have been working on adding buttons in Flash.My game is coming along great.We have added quite alot of buttons to the game.I looked on my blogroll but i didn't see any blogs that would help me so i googled blogs about adding buttons and it gave me alot of tips on how to work buttons.There was a turtoil about adding animated buttons and it tell you step by step on how to do this .Our game has a few functionally buttons but by the time I am done ther will be tons of them.There are lots of resources out there that can help students to figure out things so here os one that really help me.I hope to find more helpful stuff in the Knowledge Community .

I have been working on my game and I have got really far i think on this.We have got our loading title help and about scenes accomplised.I have been working really hard.When creating flash games it is just like doing a powerpoint or anything ealse but when you work in flash they are just teaching you how to use action scripts and things like that.I played the game what would you do and it is just telling you facts in game mode.It is really kinda like my game my game will be like a book beginning middle end.The begging there will be a loading and title .The middle will teach you how to convert factions to decimals .The end will tell you if you won or lost.This game is more funthan anything but when using flash it is just teaching but on tecnology ways.

Well now that I have been doing my paperprototype we have learned that my game was more quiz type which is not allowed.So we had to change it so now you have to take the football and hit the right equation.I was letting Mr.Lester read over my game ideal and he was like this has to be changed quiz games isn't allowed.Well I have been looking at 8th grade cso's and now that I have learned i know what types of problems is expected of me.This is a really interenting game once you learn more about it.I know that this stuff is my level and is correct because I have talk to my 8th grade math teachers and have reseched stuff.There is differnt grade levels when it comes to decimals and fractions theres super easy one and super hard ones.This game is going to be in between.

Well my name is Heather Vance and this is my second year in Globaloria.So there for I know some about flash ,action scripts and things like that.I really hope to learn more about those buttons cause that seems to be the hardest to me its like I don't catch on very well.I really don't know why but its like it doesnt rgister right to me.I know that I am going to be making a math game on 8th grade level but i really don't know what kind.I think I want it to have a game based on the new high school river view but i really don't know that was just a thought.I am so exicated to start worjing on this game figureing out what it is gonna be about.I am really scard that i won't know what to do this year ,because there is a new teacher and this is all new to him he knows very little but i think he will learn with us.

As you can tell school's almost out ,which means our game presations are almost due.We have three more days ,gosh I am so nervous.Well it has been hard here latley getting everything orginized and strait but, i have accomplised it.I have really enjoyed this class I have to say and I have accomplised alot more than I ever thought I could.I never thought that with just codes and actoin scripts a person could make a game come so far.This year has been great in here and I am totally ready to do this game.I have learned and reconized alot of action scripts.When I first got in the class I thought that it would be just any other class but this class is a class that you are suppost to challange yourselves and see how much you can get done.Teachers depend upon us to show them our best and nothing less.I have to say Mrs.Barker has been great with this class,if it wasnt for her I wouldnt know how to do half of what i know how to do now.To tell you the truth I can't wait to present this game and see what Mrs.Barker and everyone thiks about it.This Globaloria class I have learnt more than ever.I hope to learn nuch more next year in Mr.Lester class.This has been challanging but it has been fun to.

Well as you know game presations are here almost we only have one or two days to get what we need to get done.Well my game is almost done I musr say I do't like alot.The oly thing that I like is the score board and my partner cassie is suppost do be working on that.Well I had planed on having a player really shooting a basketball insted of draging the all to the goal.But once I had got everything ealse finished I had no time left.Well how I decidedwhat to code and how to scrap.I took my game and I sit down and thought it through and I realized that there was only enough time to get what I actually must have funicionally and working.So what I did was I knew what I had to have and what I didnt have to have and thats what I scraped and coded.I think that what I have is fully funicional and thats all that the game can have as of right now.If I had the time I would take the draging the basketball and turn it in to a baketball player shooting a basketball.But there is hardly anytime left for that so I must keep it the way it is .So for now I must keep it this way because I have no more time left to add this and expecially with the basketball shooting because it takes alot of action and alot of tutiols to learn how to do this.So mabe next year I can get better at this Flash and add this to my game next year.

Mrs.Barker I commented two of the students in EGMS high and there names Nick and Matt.They are partners.While I was reading through there blogs it says that Flash is very hard for them.They also said they where putting a score board on there game which is the hardest thing they've did this year.While reading through these blogs I read that they said researching is very helpful to them.They learned to explore all optios.They said that Flash hates them and is very had to work with.I understand this to.They said that there game coming along great and most of the hard work with flash is over sience they got score keeping working.Well thats all I know for now and I am hoping to learn more about there game.I cant wait to play there game .I think they are gonna have a great game to play and there gonna have fun while playing it.

hardest in Function

The hardest thing to teach in the Function concept is the "THREE BRANCHES OF GOVERMENT".My game is mostly about the Judical Branch and I think that civics is the hardest thing to do when it comes to making these games.This game moslty focuses on the Judical Branch and I think that all these admenments ,bills and rights are so hard to understand.There is so much details that go along with them.The law has so much to it if you get anything wrong it could mess you up Big Time.When you are working with civics there is so much reserch cause you never know whats right or wrong.My game teaches this concept when playing baketball you have court cases in my game and those court cases focues on these things.I just think that the Curts are to hard to understnad.My game will teach you about the rights and what they mostly consist of.

Here in Globaloria class we have did alot of researching.I have searched alot of websites and reead alot.I think that it is better to use three of four differts sources like don't just go read on one website and expect that to be the only website that there is to go to .There is also people you can talk to and dicuss what you need help with.You could also read books.When I am researching and getting imformation I always use other sources.I don't just use one sorurce.I like to have alot of imformation.I don't always use what i find first and be done with it.When you are reserching it is am impotant thing in school and teachers want to see what you found and where you looked so thats what helps you when you use different resources the teachers get to give you more credit.When I am working in gloaloria class sometimes if i don't undeerstand something abou civics I will ask my social studies teach. I also sometimes watch videos on civics so i j=understand more.So all i would suggest to other students is use all there resources before writing an anser.How would you know if it was right if you didn't go through some websites.You can't know if it's true if you don't use differt resoures.And odds are if the same thing is on a few websites then it will be right.I normally use wikipedia because wiki ansers doesn't get checked before being posted to see if it is right.I trust wikipeida.Belive what site that gets checked before deing posted

Aother Game on Functions

Today I will tell you about another game in the functions frame work.Theis game is called the three branches and there team is the cheese wizirds.This game was created by Jeremy and Andrew they go to GEHS.I have plyed there game and it looks like to me that it is like a questions so far and it asks you questions that you anser about the bill of right for instane here is one I read.Which bill is it that you can change the driving age to 19.Here are your options public bill,private bill orregular bill.The anser would be public bill if you get the anser right you get to move on to another question.I have watched there paperprototype on viddler and I have also played ther game demo.It showed on the paperprotype that you will pick a character eather fred or bill.I saw that on the game demo.Which I think was very neat.It also shows on the demo that eather fred or bill will get to drive a car and the player will watch for the opticals.I did not see that on there demo.I think that they have alot accomplished and they have did alot that they said they were going to do on there paperprototype all i see that I think that would be really neat is driving the car and watching out for the opticals.I think that is what makes the game very interresting.I see that they have made anything expect for what they said they were going to do on there paperprototype.I think thats ggod because thay have something to go by and dont keep on changing there minds.Well the only thing that I suggest is that they get a car on there and get it up and moving like they said.But I really think there game will be fun and interresting I cant wait to play it.

Today I am going to tell you about another game that is in the function part of frame work which is the same as ours.The game I am going to be telling you about is called The American Choice.The Teams name is Super Squirrel Alpha Beta.The people who are creating this game names are Nick and Matthew they attend school at Greenbrier East High School.Now I am going to tell you why I think that this game is going to fit in the function part of framework.In this game you will lead your own election by fixing out opinions of the political parties.You will also learn the entire process in the election in general.So what this game is going to do is tell and teach you how to vote you will have facts and things like that to guide you through it.This game is going to tell you how to vote what you and how old you have to be to vote.How many days and time you have until the election.So this is mainly a game that will teach you how the election works how to vote and things like that.I think this game will be very intresting once its done.There game demo is very good it gives you a great ideal of how there game is going to be.

Well my name is Heather and my partner name is Cassy.Well my game is going along good but its just keep getting harder I think.It's like we keep on adding more things.The more we add the longer its going to take so the other day Mrs.Barker made us sit down with our partners and do a game pitch.A game pitch is where you put exactly what you want and no more narrow your game down.Me and Cassy put excatly what we wanted which was the Supreme basketball game.Well in our game you will be play the game this is how you will play.You will have court cases and those court cases will be a little somethimg like this one.Cassy goes to school with her favorite rap singer t-shirt on.She knows Mr.Campbell doesn't allow these t-shits.So when she gets there he asks her tpo change she rufuses so he calls her mom and has a conferenace her mom still thinks hes wrong and shes right so she takes him to court.Thats how the court case will go.Ok then after the player reads the case they will be walking to the basketball court from the out side.So as they are walking on to the court there will be facts that pop up about the amenments to that they can decieded who side they want to be on.Mrcampbell or Cassy there will be no right or wrong anser.You will learn from the facts about the first admenment which includes the freedom of speech and freedom of expression.The facts is what you will learn aout becase you cant have a right or wrong anser.This is how my game fits in the functio part because it deal with the first admenment.

Well around two weeks ago my team presented our game presentation.I think it went very well and I got alot of advice from David and Rachial .They really helped me relize what I needed to improve on my game.A while ago when David and Rachial game here to Sandy River they told me that there was an actul basketball court in the Supreme Court.So that helped me out with my game becasue I needed some more resoures to help me.Well the suggestions that they told me I plan on adding to my game and chaning some things in my game.They told me that I should use real life cases with my game that students and there schools have went to court about.So I plan on doing that.They also said insted of just having a basketball player I should have the judge be the one to be playing.I also plan on doing this.Well our games have to be done in a little while as you can tell.In May is the big day for everyone.So this helps me relize that I have alot to do before that gets here.These things that I have listed above I plan on getting done before the big day.Well yeah I planned on doing on doing a little more like having five or six cases but I narrowed in down becasu that is alot to do in the time I have.I will probally only do two or three now because I have to do all the researching on the real life cases.I am focusing mainly on the first admenment in my game.It deals with the first admenment and freedom of specch which is the two big things that my game consist of.The reserch that I am most focused and plan on doing is the research about the real life cases and reading the first and admenments and making sure i know what I am taking about.Well as you know my game's name is the Branch Game and this doesn't really fit in with a basket ball game so I think we have decided fore our new name to be Supreme Basketball.I chose this name becasue our game is about basketball and there is a basket ball court in the Supreme Court .Well I really think that these game presentations helped me relize how soon the big day is going to be here .So I really appreciate the help and suggestions that they gave me.

First of all copy righting is illegal ,you should never do it .If you want to copy right you must have the owners premission or,discussion.You can use it as long as you put it in your own words and don't copy and paste it.As I said before you can use it as long as you reword other peoples work,some people may let you copy and paste there work for educational resons or research for school.You must still ask there premission anyways before copy and pasteing any of there work.You also have public domain which is stuff that you are allow to copy, but you still have to give credit to the person who made it. Well I have really liked these units they are very fun.Well the Adding animation wasn't all that hard I used animation to make a basket ball move in my game on the court.Well adding sound I have done a little of it but so far I haven't used it in my game but I am plannning on putting like the score borad sound when it runs out of time.I am also planning on putting like the audance cheering for the playes.So far this game hasn't been all that hard what confuses me is the key frames I do not like them.They totally confuse me.They are the harest thing for me to do.Besides that this all comes easy to me if I didnt watch the tuttotials then I wouldn't know how to do any of it they really help me.I think that this unit would really be way more diffucilt if we didn't have Mr.Barker because she knows alot about Globoloria probally way more than I will ever know

Well here in West Virginia students are not allowed to wear flipfops to there school.I think that this should become and admenment that we are allowed to wear flipflops because the way that I see it is that, if you wear them it should be your choice.They say that people get there toes stepped on and there feet hurt and all this junk.Well that is the chance that you take when you wear them.I mean wearing tinnis shoes when it is 80 and 90 digrees out side is a little crazy I think.Well flipfops should become a admenment beacuse they express you by the kind of shoes you like to wear.by saying this I have the right of opinion,and freedom of speech.I know my opinion is not going to mean a thing I am only a kid.Well this is wroth a try so please senator could you help with this sitution.I mean we have enough rules in schools,school isn't school any more it is turning into more of a prism for students.So please help enforce this as a law.

Well I have learned that Flash is very complicated and hard.You must put your best effort into it and try very hard.It just don't come easy.To me Flash is the most confusing thing I have ever did.I learned how to make buttons,add key frames,and make the buttons flash.Like change different colors.I learned how to make the button switch from scene to scene.The thing that was the easiest for me was changing the button different colors.The thing I found most dificult was key frames and actually making the button go to one scene to another.Well I really still don't know how to do it that good but Mr.Barker helps me get it as good as I know how. Well I have learned a lot about the judicial branch of government and what it maintains because my game has to have a two cases for each level so I need to know the facts.I have also done lots of research about cases that students and there teachers have fought against but that is all the researching I have done.I still need help with adding key frames I don't understand that.I don't understand how to make a play,next,or back buttons so that is what I mainly need to ask Mrs. Barker if she will help me with.I need more time on this unit because I barely understand this unit.

Drawing in Flash

Well I'm just about finished with the drawing in flash unit.Well I liked it but I think that it was a little confusing.So far so good.Well the tools drawing in flash unit was really easy for me to use such as the shapes where you like out lined the object that you was using such as a oval with and oval you could tale it and put it around a basketball and make it a perfect circle.The pincal was hard I never could get it right in the basketball line it seemed I always went out of the lines some way some how.Well the little line that you click on that made your lines kinda rounded at the ends really helped me.Well the paint brush that does not help me.I would just much rather use the paint buscket and go over the while basket ball ornge and the take the paint brush and just do the basketball lines.Well the propities and things like that I am pretty good with me.Like changing the font to bold or itlized or tha font color that was simple.Well drawing in flash was a really exicating unit for me but drawing in flash is really hard for mr to understand.I know nothing about computors or flash so I am hoping I am gonna learn more about both of them.

Well I know that swine flu is a very bad thing ,but now we have a vaccine and and medicines to cure people who have the swine flu now.Swine Flu is not a global issue and I think that lots of people are wearing it out.I think that there way to worried about nothing.Well there is some ricks that you should still care for.I mean you should still try to be germ free and try to wash your hands and things like that.I mean I can understand if there is a person that has ashame and they are worried about swine flu because if swine flu and ashame mixes in a person lungs there is a possibility that they could die.I would be worried to ,but I mean if you even cough,or sneeze now days people says she has the swine flu stay away from here.That is really getting on my nerves.I am just very sick of people they are thinking swine flu is something its not.I think they've just gone way to far with this swine flu junk.Theres a cure for it when you have it doctores keep you home until your not contagious any more .

Well I have finally finished the unit.I did my paperprototyping and recorded it.This unit has been very interesting beacuse Abby Taylor came here and talked to us.This class is really learning because I learn more and more every day.I have leared that there is a basket ball cout in the supreme court.That was amazing because my game is on basketball and the Judical branch of goverment.The judical branch of goverment deals with the courts like the supreme court.I have really leared alot. I leared that the first admenment deals with students rights for example freedom of speech.My game is going very well so far I think that the people who play this game will really learn alot.They will mostly learn about the first admenment.There will be two cases on my game and the cases are dealing with the principal and the student Cassy.I have learned alot so far and I am really looking forward to learning more.

I am finally finished with my paperprototying.I have learned alot in this unit.I learned what the first admenment included such as (Freedom of speech) things like that.I also learned what plandiff and defindent meant.Plandiff means the one who filed the case.Defindent means the one person that the filer filed againt.(Example)-Lets say Mr.Cambpell told me that I couldn't wear my favorite country music artist shirt.So I take him to court I am the Plantiff and Mr.Cambpell is the defindent.I liked this unit mostly because Aby Taylor came here to Sandy River to talk to the Globaloria students .She works for Sandra O'Connor which they both are part of the Supreme court.As you can tell my game is on basket ball.Aby Taylor told me that there was a basket ball court in the Supreme Court that really shocked me.The thing that i got really confused with was when my game was turning into a quiz game and that was begging to agervate me.Aby Taylor and the two people from New York City was the ones who helped me get my game back strigted up.They gave me some advice about Civivcs epecially Aby Taylor.They told us that there is a compition that students can enter that is in Globaloria and every one that pretisapates will be given something everyone will me given a a letter from our govener Mr.Joe Manshone.That is also interesting to me.Well this unit has been very fun and exicating.I have learned alot in this unit.I enjoyed this alot.I am looking forward to the next unit.I loved Aby Taylor's games I really liked supreme decision the most tough.

Well my game is going great so far I am almost finished with drawing it out on paper it.My games's topic is basketball.Well my game is related to civics because it is on the three branches of goverment mainly the judical branch though.When playing my game ,kids in 5th and 6th grade level will learn a litlle more about the goverment and how it works.They will mainly learn how the judical branch works by being asked questions.For example they will be asked a question some thing like this one,What type of court does the judical branch handle.Well the way I am putting this it sounds like this game is gonna be all learning and know fun.But it's not, it will be a basket ball game and each team(PLAYER) will be asked a question and the question will be based on the (JUDICAL BRANCH OF GOVERMENT).That is how the kids will learn more about civics.My game fits in the Function part of civics knowledge framework.It fits in this part beacuse it is based on the three branches of goverment.Function means how the goverment works.As me and you know the Judical branch makes the laws.

Well Freedom of Speech means alot.I think that you should me able to say what you want when you want but only to a limit.There is lots of restrictions tough when it comes to school.I mean there is a limit what you can wear to school.I like that kids isn't allowed to wear shorty shorts and shirts with bad things on them.I mean shorty shorts are not ment for school I don't think beacuse I think they show to much.So I truly agree with that rule.Shrits with bad things on them what I mean by that is I don't think students schould be allowed to wear shirts with cuss words,dirty pictures ,or drugs and achol on them.So that is another rule I truly agree with .There is two rules that I dislike tough I hate the rule know flipflops and tanktops.My opinion is I see nothing at all wrong with flipflops.I know Mr.Campbell thinks that people was getting there feet hurt in them.I think that is just the chance you take and if students wated to wear flipflops I would see nothing wrong with that.Tanktops I see nothing wrong with tanktops eather I mean as long as nothing is showing I don't see why we can't wear them.Well lets say Mr.Campwell comes up to me and says I forbid you to wear that Trace Adkins bad t-shirt tomorrow.That's my favorite shirt I say and I say I don't understand why I can't wear it beacuse it doesn't have anything bad on it .I say I have the right Mr.Campbell to wear my t-shirt it is in the first addmenment.That you are allowed to express your self.That t-shirt is my favorite shirt and in tells the kind of music I like to listen to.Which mean it expresses me.Now I am gonna tell you a little thing about locker search.Let's say a student goes and tells Mr.Campbell that I have drugs in my locker and he says I am gonna go search it well I could under stand that that gives Mr.Campbell a reason.Now lets say Mr.Campbell comes up to me and says Heather I need to search your locker and I say why and he says know reason then I don't think that would be acceptable.I truly understand that there is clothing rules in school and we have to follow them.

I enjoyed the Imanging your game unit.I learned how to do text boxes on flash.My games title is gonna be called The Branch Game.The Branch game is gonna be fun and learning to.It is gonna teach you about the three brances of goverment.It is also gonna be fun because you are gonna be playing basket ball while they are learning.How you are gonna learn is when the game begins one team will be picked to anser a question.The question the team will be asked will be based on the Judical Branch of goverment.If that team gets the question right they will get to take the ball out.If the team gets the anser wrong the other team will be chosen to take the ball out.Once the ball is took out the first team to get ten points will win.They will win another Judical Branch question.If they get it wrong like I said before the other team gets to take it out.There will be three levels.First level first team to ten wins,Second level first team to get ten points,Third level first team to ten again.All the points will add up to thirty points.I plan for the game to look real like it is a real life basket ball game.I want the (SIX) players on each team to look like they are really running up and down the basketball court.They will really be shooting and they will have a scoreboard to keep up with there points.The back ground on my game will look just like a basketball court.I can't wait to design this game and so far I think Globoraloria is goning great.I am learning alot and I have a really good teacher Mrs.I Barker she seems to know alot about all of this stuff.I really learned alot in the Imanging your game unit.

Well for some people sports is all they know.They never take time to study or do there home work.But not any more that is gonna change.The game I am gonna be designing is gonna be about basketball but it is also gonna be about the three branches of goverment.Don't get me wrong I love to play basketball,but when it comes to my school work I have to study and forget basketball sometimes.I am hoping to get to design a game about basketball.So there for I want to make it about the three branches of goverment so it dont make studying so boaring.I know learning can be very boaring so I am gonna try to make it a little bit funnier.I am going to make a basketball game.The game is gonna be based on the three branches of government, but mostly the Judical Branch.It is gonna be on life Stimlation Topic it is gonna be similar to the Dalfur is Dying game.The games background is gonna look like a basket ball court.The game is goona be sit up like this you have to use the arrow keys and the mouse and the space bar.This is how the branch game works.There is gonna be two teams of players.The players are really gonna be running and playing basketball.The first team to get ten pionts wins.When a team wins they win a Judical Branch question such as a civic question.They must have ten points before they get to anwser this question.Well if your team gets the question right they get to take the ball out if they get it wrong then the other team gets to take it out.Well once they take it out the game will begin again.When one team hits thirty points the game over.There will be a score board that keeps up with your score.To keep up with your points.When you make a basket it will atomatically keep your points. This is how I plan to make my game.I hope it works out and I would say it will if it is left up to Mr.Barker to help me I am so ready to design this game.I am gonna make the game like a 5th 6th grade leval so that kids that is in 5th and 6th grade will understand.I am think of s questions that i needed help with last year whan I was in 6th grade mabe these questions will help them.I really think The Branch game will help students with there schooling because I know last year if I would of had a game like this one to play it would of helped me alot.In this game the questions that the teams will be asked will be some questions that I needed help with last year.The questions will be 5th and 6th grade level questions.

How Globoria has Been So Far For Me

Globoria has been great so far for me.I find it fascinating that only a few students get to take this class and I am one of them.I also love where we get to have our own profile like our own personal space on thw wiki i think that is very neat.I have learned a litte about flash which I think is very cool.I love how we make the carrotMC move and I can't wait to do more on flash.We will soon be making the bunny eat the carrotMC.I can't wait.Well once we did Playing to Learn Unit we had to write a review on Choosing a Topic unit.Which means I played twelve games on the Playing to learn unit,and then. I chose my two favorites and wrote reviews on them my two favorites where September 12,and Dalfur is Dying.I loved these games because I love the September 12 game becacse it gives you a really good ideal of what happens in war.I 'm really interested in like in things that happend in war so that game really amused me.I liked Dalfur is Dying because it kinda gives you a little showing of how things happen in the real world.What I mean by that is that it tells and shows you that not only kinds can get kidnappend but adults get kidnapped too.It also shows you that surival can be hard when everthing isn't always given to you.It shows that in the wild you have to find your own food water and every thing with out getting killed.Well I have loved Globoria so far and I think it will get more fun.I love the my teacher Mre.Barker I think she really knows her stuff when it comes to this class.

I am going to be talking about internet safety.There is good ways to use internet and there is bad ways.Well you have to make yourself safe when using internet.When using internet you should not let people know your personal information.When using social networks such as myspace,or facebook you should not talk to any strangers.You should only talk to people you know.The internet can be very dangerous if you make it to be such as you give your phone number out,what age you are,what city you live in,what you look like,what school you go to.There is some examples you don't give none of your personal information out on the internet to any one.When you give these things out you are not keeping your self safe on the internet.Internet is as safe as you make it to be. The internet is very safe when you don't give no personal information out.You have right on the computer.There is certain things you are allowed to do and certain things you are not allowed to do.Like when at school you are not allowed to get on any social networks.You are not allowed on the internet with out having premission.So there for rights come with responsibilities. In america we have the feedom of speech.So if I could make our school dress code,I would make it to where all the students could have there own choice.I know that there is a thing about going to far.So I would make it so that the students could wear what they wanted it would just have to be appropriate.I would make it legal that they could wear tank tops because I dont think that it shows any thing. I would also make it so they could wear flip flops.I think that if another student did not like my idea that him/her should be able to express there ideas too.I know that rights come with responsibilities.I am responsible to be a good citizen.I know that there ia a limit to free speech at school.So if the principal did not like my ideal then I would just hae to accept that.I know I don't run Sandy River and I'm not the one who is over the dress code so if Mr.Camble doesn't like my ideal thats ok I guess it was worth a try.
